Chimney Sweeping
Clean
Carpets and floors are covered with clean cloths. The fireplace is sealed off with a powerful vacuum behind the cloth to collect the falling soot.
Thorough
As a matter of course the stack and inside the lower part of the chimney are inspected for safety. Depending on the size, type or condition of the chimney flue, either traditional brushes or Powersweeping are used to thoroughly clean the flue.
Professional
We are fully trained, insured and monitored by a professional association.
Once swept, the soot is safely bagged up and a Certificate is issued as a reminder of the date it was Swept, plus, it is proof for Insurance Companies that your ‘appliance’ is regularly maintained in case of a chimney fire.
A growing number of insurance companies are including clauses about real fires and stoves in the small print which invalidates this insurance if it cannot be proved flues have been swept and a chimney subsequently catches fire.
